Hoffman, Susan (18 OCT 1975)

The Rev. Robert B. Houston officiated at a nuptial ceremony at 5 p.m. October 18, 1975, when Miss Susan Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hoffman, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was given in marriage by her father to Robert J. Karo, son of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Karo, Marshfield.

Tom Zepaltas played the organ and Misses Diane and Kathy Zepaltas and Mrs. Donna Hateli sang.

A gown of white lagond and lace with chapel length train was worn by the bride, along with a fingertip veil fastened to a bridal headpiece. Her bouquet contained white roses and blue carnations.

Mrs. Larry Petersen of Marshfield was matron of honor, and Miss Cathy Shober, Fond du Lac was the bridesmaid. They had dresses with hoods in two-toned blue, and bouquets of blue carnations and dry fall flowers.

Others in the wedding party were Richard Ulman, Marshfield, best man, Brian Karo, Delafield, groomsman, Larry Petersen and Guy Karo, ushers, Jerry Koza, Addison, Illinois, ring bearer, and Patty Karo, Marshfield, flower girl.

The 6 p.m. supper was served in St. Mary's church Hall in Greenwood, and the reception and dance were held at the Village Plaza, Spencer.

The new matron graduated from Greenwood High School and attended the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire for a year. She is a psychiatric technician at Norwood Health Center.

Her husband attended Marshfield Senior High School and works in the same capacity at Norwood.

The Karos will live in Spencer after a wedding trip through the eastern states and into Canada.
