Steltenpohl, Debra Jean (Marriage – 28 June 1975)

Miss Debra Jean Steltenpohl became the bride of David Alan Marty Saturday, June 28, in a 2 p.m. ceremony performed at Calvary Lutheran Church by the Rev. Ronald Nordin. A reception was held at the Neillsville American Legion Hall.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Steltenpohl, Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Marty, Rt. 1 Granton.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in an entrained, high-neckline, Juliet-sleeved gown of eyelet lace, the lace entwined with satin ribbon to form V’s on the front and back. Her fingertip veil was held by a Camelot headpiece. Blue and white sweetheart roses and lilies-of-the-valley formed her bouquet.

Audrey Hagen was the bride’s honor attendant and Mrs. Duane Marty, the bridesmaid. Their rose-flocked pink gowns featured long, full, sheer sleeves and were complimented by bouquets of pink roses and white gardenias.

Attending the groom were Darell Struensee as bestman and Duane Marty as groomsman. Guests were seated by Denis Steltenpohl and Don Hillert.

Steve Marty acted as ringbearer and Judy Steltenpohl, as flower girl.

Mrs. Mary Heineck, soloist, was accompanied by Mrs. Elaine Smith, on the organ.

The bride was honored at a prenuptial shower given by Tammy Marty and Audrey Hagen.

A 1975 graduate of Neillsville High School, the new Mrs. Marty has been employed at Memorial Home. Her husband, a 196t7 graduate of Granton High School, is employed at a Marshfield auto dealership.

Following a camping trip in the area, they will live at the Wildwood Apartments in Marshfield.
