Witek, John H. (28 July 1911-8 January 1984)

WITHEE -- John H. Witek, 72, Route !, Withee, died Sunday morning at his home.

Services will be Tuesday at St. Mary's National Catholic Church, Lublin. The Very Rev. Edward Brzostowski will officiate. Burial will be in the cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Visitation will be at the Thorp Funeral Home, Thorp.

He was born July 28, 1911 in Chicago, to the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Agatha Swiontek) Witek. He married Elizabeth Gay December 2, 1932 in Lublin. She survives. The couple lived and farmed at Route 1, Withee, the past 40 years.

A member of St. Mary's National Catholic Church, Mr. Witek is also survived by three sons, Ernest Wabasha, Minnesota, Marion of Menomonee Falls and Eugene of Gonzales, Louisiana; one brother, William of Western Springs, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.Obit: Witek, John H.
