NHS Class of 1950 (25 Year Reunion – 19 July 1975)

The Neillsville High School Class of 1950 held its 25-year reunion in the Bamboo Room at Bali Hai Supper Club on Saturday evening, July 19. Dinner was followed by a short program emceed by Jimmy Vincent.

Prizes were awarded to the following; Marvin Klann, for coming the furthest distance (San Antonio, Tx.); Joanne (Pietenpol) Tibbett, the grandmother with the most grandchildren; Doug Hantke, most unusual occupation; Doris (Ott) Simenson, married the shortest time; Erland Greeler, coming the closest to the class prophecy; Erline (Ziegler) Vandeberg, first woman to return her reservation; Laverne Schmitt, first man to return his reservation; Mary Jane Frei, most successful in life; Charles Sydorowicz, for saying grace before the meal; Calvin Oldham, having the least hair; Marjorie (DeMert) Lau, July 19 was her birthday; Jean (Schneider) Galbreath, 25th person to register; Miss Daphne Beeckler, favorite woman teacher.

Honored guests were Miss Daphne Beeckler, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Lauscher, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lukes, Mr. and Mrs. John Perkins and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Peters.

Following the program, an evening of music and dancing was provided by the Harmony-Aires.
