Gracie Girl Bakery, owned and operated by Gracie Hauser, has found a home base and, as of Wednesday, October 2, has been churning out delicious and healthy treats for shipment and local purchase. Gracie Girl Bakery is located at 124 N. Soderberg Drive in Thorp. They are open Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

I notice that you don't have a very big entryway or product display area. I assume your focus is on shipping out products?

"Yes," Gracie Hauser said. "We of course offer local pickups, and we have a small selection available on site, but the majority of our business is produced in larger amounts and shipped out. For people interested in things locally, as it is important we continue to work with and support our local community, call us at (715) 669-3584 or order online at graciegirlbakery.com. We are different than most places. We are an E-commerce place with a storefront."

Now that they have a facility to keep up with the volume of orders that started rolling in while Gracie was still in Thorp High School baking out of her home. Gracie is able to figure out the right way to bake in mass while maintaining the high quality of product that everyone has come to expect. "We usually make around 100 items at a time," Gracie said. "This is a relatively low number for mass-production, but the healthy ingredients can be finicky compared to the usual sugars and grains."

For those interested in checking out the new facility, there will be a grand opening on Saturday, November 2. There will be more information as it becomes available to us.
