Billings, Bernice J. (22 Jan. 1924 - 9 Jan. 2009)

Bernice J. Billings, 84, of Marshfield, died Fri., Jan. 9, 2009, in the Palliative Care Unit of Saint Joseph's Hospital with her family at her side. Honoring her wishes no funeral services are scheduled. Interment will be in the Sun.t Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha. The Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Billings was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Milladore, the daughter of Lawrence and Jennie (Jadack) Krubsack. She graduated high school in Wisconsin Rapids.

The former Bernice Krubsack was united in marriage to Charles Kaiser Sr., who preceded her in death in 1963. She was later married to Fred Billings.

Bernice resided in Kenosha, where she was employed at Eaton Manufacturing until the time of her retirement in 1990. Following her retirement, she moved to Marshfield to be near family.

In her earlier years, Bernice enjoyed camping and traveling.

She is lovingly survived by one son, Charles Kaiser, Marshfield, grandchildren, Danny (Rebecca) Moore, Kenneth (Rhonda) Moore and Christine Kaiser. Three great-grandchildren, Zach, Deedee and Samantha Moore, Kira Everson and Katana Whittenberger and one sister Doris Casler, Wisconsin Rapids, further survive Bernice.

A brother Gordon and sisters, Janet, Marion and Evelyn preceded Bernice in death.
