Haas, Lori Kay (Marriage – 23 August 1975)

A reception at the Quonset Hall followed the wedding of Miss Lori Kay Haas and James Pajak, who repeated vows at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 23, at St. Bernard’s Church in Thorp before the Rev. John Puerner.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Haas, Thorp. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pajak, R. 3 Thorp.

Miss Annette Haas was her sister’s maid of honor, and Miss Geralyn Haas and Miss Jane Haas were their sister’s bridesmaids.

The groom was attended by Dennis Lendosky as bestman and Dave Paczkowski and Chuck Nitz as groomsmen. Serving as ushers were Glenn Seaman, cousin of the bride, and Joe Pajak, brother of the groom.

Jackie Pajak, sister of the groom, was the organist and Jenny Gruber was the soloist.

The new Mrs. Pajak, a 1973 special education graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Wu Claire, is presently enrolled in its master’s program for persons dealing with the emotionally disturbed. She is a special education Ninth ward elementary school in Chippewa Falls. Her husband graduated from Thorp High School in 1969 and later from the Eau Claire Technical Institute’s machine tool course. He is employed by a Thorp firm.
