Hart, Norma G. (27 Mar. 1932 – 5 Mar. 1990)

Norma G. Hart, 57, of Route 2, Black River Falls, died suddenly on Monday, March 5, 1990 at the Black River Memorial Hospital.

Norma Peterson was born in Black River Falls on March 27, 1932 to Norman and Esther (Hanson) Peterson. She was raised in the Town of Irving in Jackson County and she married Willis H. Hart in Black River Falls on June 21, 1952.

She graduated from Black River Falls High School and she attended teletype courses in Minneapolis. She worked for one year at T.W.A. in Chicago. She had also been employed at the A.S.C.S. office and Millis Transfer, both in Black River Falls. At the time of her death, she was secretary at Farm-Urban Real Estate.

She had been the Irving town clerk since 1981 and she was a member of the Little Norway Church Council. She had also been a 4-H leader.

Survivors include her husband, Willis; three sons, Dale and Ronald, both of Black River Falls, and Randy of Olympia, Wash: one daughter, Nancy Hart of Taylor; her mother, Esther Peterson of Black River Falls; two brothers, Vernon Peterson of Black River Falls and Peter Peterson of Melrose; two sisters, Martha Fox of Osseo and Grace Long of Sacramento, Calif., and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Peterson and one grandson, Jake Hart.

Funeral services for Norma G. Hart will be Wednesday, March 7, at 2 p.m. from the Little Norway Lutheran Church. Pastor Paul Reiff will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Torgerson's Funeral Chapel on Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the time of services.

Pallbearers will be Donald E. Gilbertson, Roger D. Huber, Robert Hansen, Ilett Gilbertson, Lester Hoagenson and William McNulty.
