The Rev. Chester J. Osowski, pastor of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, officiated at the October 4, 1975 ceremony which united in marriage, Miss Susan M. Kowalczyk, Marshfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Kowalczyk, 303 N. Division Street, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and Edwin G. Reckner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Reckner, 707 N. Plum Avenue, Marshfield.

Music was provided by St. Anthony's Church Choir. Guests were ushered into St. Anthony's Church, Loyal, by Robin Kowalczyk, Green Bay, and David Reckner, Marshfield.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her parents, wore her mother's bridal gown of imported Chantilly lace, with a Cathedral train of lace over satin, a floor length veil of imported illusion, fastened to a lace headpiece, trimmed with seed pearls, and a bouquet of talisman roses, yellow carnations and baby's breath completed the ensemble.

Bridal attendants were Miss Debbie Debold, Waukegan, Illinois, Rita Blenker, Marshfield, and Miss Laurie Kowalczyk, Loyal, bridesmaids. They wore empire gowns fashioned by the bride, of orange polyester crepe, trimmed with ecru lace, and carried crocheted baskets of ecru color filled with bronze mums and small fall flowers.

Flower girl was Monica Reckner, Marshfield, and ring bearer was Carey Cukla, Ashland.

Attending the groom were Dale Schultz, Marshfield, best man, and Rodney Kowalczyk, Loyal, and Dennis Reckner, Marshfield, groomsmen.

Following the ceremony a reception and dance were held at the Loyal American Legion Haall. A dinner was served in St. Anthony's Church basement.

The bride is a 1971 graduate of Loyal High School, and the groom is a 1972 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School, and is employed at Rollohome.

Following a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and the Sturgeon Bay area, the couple will make their home at 400 S. Central Avenue, Marshfield.
