Carrimon, James Luke Rujamani (16 July 1949 – 23 February 2010) With Flag

 

James Luke Rujamani Carrimon, 60, of Holmen died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010,a t the Tri-County Memorial Hospital in Whitehall.

 

He was born July 6, 1949, in Black River Falls to LaVerne and Lorraine (Snowball) Carrimon.  James attended Logan High School and served with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

 

He worked at Gateway Foods for many years. James was an avid hunter and enjoyed bike riding and playing volleyball and softball.  He loved watching Westerns, “Two and a Half men” and the Sci-Fi Channel and going to Pow-Wows.  He enjoyed hanging out with family and friends and looked at life with a positive attitude.  He always found a reason to laugh and to make others laugh.

 

He is survived by five children, Kimberly (Shawn) Carrimon Neary, Angela Carrimon, Valerie Carrimon, Carli (Ben) Paasch and Sean Carrimon; a grandson, Dexter Paasch; a step-granddaughter, Cheyane Snopek; four brothers, Colin (Bonnie, Al, Perry and Fabian; his mom, Millie Decorah; his ex-wives, Margie Snopek and Luanne Honer; four nephews, Jason Amerson, Adam (Stella) Kruse, Hunter Voss and David Carrimon; and four nieces, Amber (Austin) Steele, Margaux Carrimon, Sarah Carrimon and Melina Scheurich.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Anthony; three sisters, Rita Kruse, Jennifer Carrimon and Linda Shegonee; his mom, Irene Malleck; and three infant nephews.

 

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, at noon at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse with Levi Blackdeer officiating. Burial was in the Black River Falls UCC Cemetery.  Friends called at the funeral home Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
