Neillsville Locals (11 July1968)

Charles Scholtz of Germantown is spending his vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Scholtz. Today (Thursday) Mr. and Mrs. Scholtz plan to accompany Charles to Dubuque, Ia., on business.

FA John Gross, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Gross, who is serving with the navy aboard the aircraft carrier Hancock, is leaving this week for a tour of duty in waters near Vietnam. He is to return in February.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Christie and baby of La Crosse spent the weekend visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Christie.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Markwardt, and Mrs. Mayme Imig of Neillsville, and their sister, Mrs. Ann Mattson of Burlington, returned home last week from a three-week vacation trip through California, Washington and Oregon. At the Dalles, Ore., they visited Mr. and Mrs. Harold Imig and family and at Olympia, Wash., they visited Mr. and Mrs. Claude Ayers.

LaVerne May returned Monday to his home in Milwaukee after spending a week visiting his grandmother, Mrs. Otto May.

Miss Bernadine Peterson of Madison is spending a few days this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Peterson.

Joe Schiller and daughter of St. Paul, Minn., spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Rose Schiller, and the Robert Schiller family.
