Korth, Dolores (1947)

Kiel-Korth

Bethlehm [sic] Lutheran Church, Evanston, Ill., was the scene of the wedding of Miss Dolores Korth, Evanston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Korth, Spencer, and Arthur Kiel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kiel, Evanston. The ceremony was read by the Rev. S. E. Rathke, formerly of Auburndale, on August 2.

The bride was dressed in white organdy with a full skirt and fitted bodice. Her finger-tip veil was draped from a beaded headdress. She carried a bouquet of white roses.

The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Ruth Korth, Spencer, who was the maid of honor, and by Miss Marie Kiel, sister of the groom. They were dressed in identically styled gowns of marquisette over satin in green and orchid respectively. They carried bouquets of yellow gladioli.

The best man, Edward Hennig, Evanston, was a cousin of the groom and Arno Korth, Milwaukee, the groomsman, is a brother of the bride.

A reception was held at the home of the grooms parents.

Mrs. Kiel is a graduate of the Spencer High School and has been employed the past four years by the Hardware Mutual Casualty Company of Chicago. The groom is a graduate of the Evanston High School. A veteran, he will attend school in Tulsa, Oklahoma where the couple will make their home.

The Record joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
