Reinl, Franz (07 JUL 1848 – 23 APR 1926)


Frank Joseph Reinl, 77, died Wednesday at St. Nicholas hospital, after a lingering illness. The deceased was born in Bohemia, July 11, 1848, and came to this country with his parents at the age of seven years. The family settled in Charlesburg, Calumet County, where Mr. Reinl lived until 1893, at which time he came to Sheboygan. During his illness he made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Mike Ronk, 1836 North Twelfth St.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mike Ronk, Mrs. William Leve, of this city and Miss Josephine Reinl, of Paris, WI, and four sons, Rev. A. J. Reinl, of Fond du Lac, Rev. Irenaeus Reinl, of New York, and Roman and Mike Reinl, of this city. Twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive, as well as one brother, Raymond Reinl, of Charlesburg, WI, and three sisters, Mrs. Francis Keuler, of Charlesburg, WI, Mrs. Anton Nadler, of Chilton, and Mrs. Joseph Roerig, of Adrian, MN.

Mr. Reinl was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held Saturday from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mile Ronk and at the Holy Name church with a solemn requiem high mass, with Rt. Rev. Monsignor D. F. Thill officiating. Interment will be made in North Side Catholic Cemetery.
