About forty-eight men helped Paul Gustafson raise his new barn on the former Dumke farm Friday, neighbor ladies helped Mrs. Gustafson cook for the men.

Mrs. Herbert Olson and Marlene of New London spent Wednesday and Thursday with the Clifford Manier's and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stouffacher and children of Minneapolis, and Mr. and Mrs. Aflred Berge and Marie visited at the Hans Johnson home one evening last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Krueger of Sparta spent Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with the Don Millers and Ronald Swopes.

Mr. and Mrs. George Paap and boys visited at the Dick Brandt home Monday evening.

Tuesday dinner guests at the Joe Horban home were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ulsey of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Glen Jabey and children of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Manier and Mr. and Mrs. Orville Manier and children.

A group of friends and relatives attended a birthday party for Ronnie Sope and an anniversary party for Mr. and Mrs. Buzz Halterman at the Ronnie Swope home Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ulrey, Mrs. Glen Jabey and children, Mrs. Hebert Olsona nd Marlene, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hatfield, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Manier, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Manier and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Horban and children were Wednesday evening supper guests at the Jake Manier home.

The Ray Olsons of Loyal were weekend guests at the Clifford Manier home.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Ryniec and Gary of Janesville spent several days at the Don Miller home last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Allen Dewless of Melburn, Pa. spent some time at the Bert Brandt home last week, and also visited the Dick Brandt, Carl Brandt homes. Mrs. Dewless is a niece of the Brandt's.

Sunday dinner guests at the Clifford Manier home were: Mr. and Mrs. Roy Olson and family of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ulrey of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Orville Manier and family and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Horban and family.
