Decker, Theodore (13 December 1901 - 3 October 1968)

Funeral services for Theodore Decker were held October 8, from Immanuel United Church, with Rev. David Logue officiating. Pallbearers were Arvin Liebzeit, Harvey Goeke, Walter and Arno Decker, Arno Miller and Edward Meinholdt. The choir sang, “Jesus is Always there” and “Beyond the Sunset,” accompanied by Mrs. Alvin Albert.

Members of the family from away who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Theodore Decker of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Decker and family of Orlando, Fla.; Arthur Decker and son, Duane, of St. Paul, Minn.; Otto Decker of Marengo, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Decker and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Decker of Fountain City; Mrs. John Pawleck and daughter, Patti, of Soquel, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fillips of Glen, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shortess of Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wolfe and son, Eddie, and Mrs. Barbara Clemens of Neenah; and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Shortess of Marshfield.

Mr. Decker is a former resident of Greenwood, and is survived by his wife and two sons and a daughter.
