Sybeldon, Jack (1893? - 3 May 1934)

Jack Sybeldon, of Chippewa Falls, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sybeldon of this city, and a former resident of Abbotsford, passed away at the sanitorium at Chippewa Falls, Thursday, May 3. Mr. Sybeldon had been in poor health for the past several years.

Funeral services were held at 3 o’clock Monday at the Nottre Dame Catholic church in Chippwa Falls. A requiem high mass was celebrated with the Rev. Father Hard officiating.

Mr. Sybeldon was 41 years of age at the time of his death. He was born at Hurley, Wis. About 18 years ago he was married to Gertrude Busch at Rice Lake.

Surviving are his wife and two daughters, Gladys and Marjorie; his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sybeldon; five sisters, Mrs. A. Marks, Helen Sybeldon and Mrs. Agnes Lester, Chicago; Clara Sybeldon, Chippewa Falls; and Mrs. Joseph Fischer, Abbotsford; two brothers, Ed Sybeldon, Abbotsford and Henry Sybeldon, Kenosha. One child, Gertrude, preceded him in death about 12 years ago.

The pallbearers at the funeral were Clarence Rouse, Stevens Point; Harry Ketcham and Peter Dolan, Abbotsford; Al Popple, Chippewa Falls; Joe Whitman, Stevens Point and Garney Westcott, Park Falls.

Among those who attended the funeral from Abbotsford were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ketcham, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dolan, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Dolan, Mrs. Charles Hoffman, Mrs. Maxwell Jenks and Mrs. Joseph McCabe.
