Joseph, Sarah Frances (Marriage - 13 Jan 1895)

‘TWILL BE BRILLIANT.

The Kahn-Joseph Wedding Tomorrow at G.A.R. Hall.

The Contracting Parties Are Well And Favorably Known All Over The State.

None but the ingenious and dauntless Moses could have conceived or executed the essential details of what promises to be the most brilliant wedding that our city has ever known. It will occur in the G.A.R. hall tomorrow at 6 o’clock p.m.

The contracting parties are Miss Sarah Francis Joseph, of this city, and Mr. Joseph Kahn, a prosperous merchant of Eau Claire. Rabbi Hess of St. Paul will perform the ceremony, and may noted people, friends and relatives of the bride and groom will be present from St. Paul, Milwaukee and other cities. W.H. Howieson and E. J. Barrett, assisted by a number of women, are decorating the hall with ferns, palms, evergreens and the National colors in a manner to enchant the beholder. At the close of the interesting ceremony a magnificent supper will be given in the banquet rooms of the hall, where the large number of invited guests will be served with all the delicacies of the season, augmented by the most delicious wines procurable from the funny France, the world famous neighborhood of the Rhine; and the glorious country of California.
