Wegner, Hulda (13 February 1894-28 June 1983)

Mrs. Arthur (Hulda) Wegner, 89, Marshfield, died Tuesday at the Neillsville Memorial Nursing Home. She had been a resident there since August 1980.

Services will be Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield. The Rev. Ronald A. Jansen will officiate. Bruce Jensenma, organist, will accompany congregational singing. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ronald, Gary, Duane and Roger Wegner, Bradley Neumann and Donald Hilgemann.

Visitation will be at the Hansen Funeral Home.

The former Hulda Bruckschen was born February 13, 1894 in Manitowoc County to Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Hochkammer) Bruckschen, and received her education there. She was married to Arthur Wegner December 4, 1919 in Manitowoc County, where they lived until 1934; they then moved to rural Granton and farmed. In 1944, they retired from farming and moved to Granton for a short time before moving to Marshfield. She lived in Marshfield until entering the nursing home.

A member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mrs. Wegner is survived by two sons, Edwards of Granton, and Vernon of Clermont, Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Bernice) Neumann of Marshfield; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband January 23, 1958, her parents, one sister and four brothers.
