Orlikowski, Marie (21 July 1909 - 24 Sept. 1999)

Marie Orlikowski, 90, of Port Richey, Fla., formerly of Athens, died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999 at her Florida home.

She was born July 21, 1909, in Medford, daughter of the late George and Amalia (Halm) Rosner. She married Alexander Orlikowski on Nov. 30, 1939, at St. John's Catholic Church, Wuertzburg. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1981.

Marie Orlikowski moved to Port Richey from Athens on May 15, 1999. She was a member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in Port Richey, and St. Anthony Catholic Church in Athens; she was a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women.

Survivors include five daughters, Rose Caliva, Port Richey, Amalia Lewis, Goulais River, Ontario Canada; Frances Pecher, Shawano, Kathleen Wilson, Milwaukee; and Therese Wilson-Suday, West Allis; two sons, David Orlikowski, Eagle River; and Gerard Orlikowski, Athens; 29 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lorraine Murkowski, Wausau. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sons, Daniel, Michael, Lawrence and Alex Orlikowski Jr.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1999 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Athens. The Rev. Randy E. Olson presided. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Athens.
