Viegut, Ronald (5 May 1954 - 19 May 2008)

EDGAR -- Ronald "Eppie" Viegut, 54, Edgar, died Monday, May 19, 2008, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

He was born May 5, 1954, in Wausau, son of the late Ewald and Henrietta (Mueller) Viegut. Ronald was a graduate of Edgar High School. He was employed with the Marathon Cheese Corp. Among his many interests, he enjoyed fishing, playing cards with his friends, family get togethers and was an avid Packers and Brewer fan.

Survivors include three sisters, Eunice (Jerome) Meyer, Wausau, LeAnn (Lonnie) Lewis, Wausau, and Sandra (Rick) Roggenbauer, Stratford; two brothers, Eugene (Lila) Viegut, Wausau, and Gerald (Karen) Viegut, Stratford; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008, at St. John Lutheran Church, W1000 County Road N, Edgar. The Rev. Jeff Tarras will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from noon to service time Thursday at the church.

Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar, is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church or Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
