Dahlke, Carol J. (Leffel) (December 25, 1951 - March 24, 2009)

Carol J. Dahlke, 57, Edgar, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at her home surrounded by family, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice Services.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11a.m. Friday, March 27, 2009 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan. The Very Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Friends may call Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 5363 Vilas St., Milan and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. There will be a 7:45 prayer service Thursday evening at the church.

Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar, is in charge of arrangements.

Carol J. Dahlke, 57, Edgar, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice Services at her home surrounded by family.

She was born Dec. 25, 1951, in Medford, daughter of Mary Ann (Imbach) Leffel and the late Gilbert Stibbe. On Sept. 1, 1973, she married Jerry Dahlke at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan.

Carol worked at Land O' Lakes in Spencer for more than 30 years and also tended bar at many establishments including Dahlke's Bar, Country Aire, Someplace Else and Mr. D's. She enjoyed crocheting, shooting pool, playing cards and watching TV game shows.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry, Edgar; her mother, Mary Ann Leffel, Colby; three sons, Russell (Kathleen) Dahlke, Randy Dahlke and Rick Dahlke, all of Edgar; two grandchildren, Meygan and Samuel; eight siblings, Mary Stibbe, Stratford, Shirley (Dennis) Leffel, Milton, Kathy (John) Bohman, Stratford, Dick (Lynn) Stibbe, Gilman, Joe Stibbe, Texas, Alice (Kevin) Buchholz, Colby, Arlene (Mike) Leffel, Wisconsin Rapids, and Vern (Vicki) Leffel, Colby; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert; and her stepfather, Henry Leffel Jr.
