Seeger, Alberta Amelia (Weinkauf) (June 23, 1923 - September 7, 2009)

 

Alberta A. Seeger, 86, Edgar, died on Monday, September 7, 2009 at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2009 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, ELCA in Edgar. Rev. LaDonna Ekern will preside and Charlotte Otto will be the organist for congregational singing. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Alberta A. Seeger, age 86, Edgar, died on Monday, September 7, 2009 at the Clark

Alberta Amelia Seeger was born on June 23, 1923 in Edgar to Carl and Amelia

(Steidinger) Weinkauf.

 

She and George Herman Seeger were united in marriage in 1949 in Edgar. She and her husband farmed in the Town of Cleveland. He died on September 11, 1998.

 

Alberta is survived by a daughter, Karen Creger of Cynthiana, Kentucky and a son Otto Seeger of Edgar. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Johnny, Karl and Tracy and two great grandchildren, Connor and Sydney. She is further survived by a brother, Earl Weinkauf of Littleton, Colorado, a sister, Almira Larson of Denver, Colorado, and a sister-in-law, Margaret Weinkauf of Wausau.

 

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Sandra McFarland, a son Karlo, sons-in-law, Steve McFarland and John W. Creger a brother, Ewald Weinkauf and a sister, Darlene Heling.

 

Sauter-Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
