Hoops, Pauline (6 Oct. 1861 – 5 June 1934)

Spencer, June 9 - Funeral - service for Mrs. John Hoops, who died Tuesday afternoon at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, after a month's illness, were held Friday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Plath, and at 2 P.M. from the Trinity Lutheran church. The Rev. A. C. Stapel officiated and interment was made in the Spencer cemetery.

Six grandsons of the late Mrs. Hoops, acted as pallbearers, Vern Martin, Lawrence Hoops, Arthur Hoops, Norbert Mellenthine, Sherwood Plath and Alvin Hoops.

Floral tributes were in charge of six granddaughters, Grace Sten**, Green Bay; Ruth Natzke, Ash***, Marcella Mellenthin ***Note: The rest of the article was either missing or unreadable. She is buried in the West Spencer Cemetery, Sherman Township, Clark County, Wisconsin.
