Alan E. Pradt at Brother’s Funeral

Alan E. Pradt, advertising manager of the Rhinelander Paper Company, was in Wausau this afternoon to attend funeral services for his brother, Louis A. Pradt, Jr., 56, of well-known Wausau attorney, who died Sunday morning in Wausau hospital after a brief illness. Burial was in a Wausau Cemetery.

Louis A. Pradt was associated with his father, the later Louis A. Pradt, in the practice of law in Wausau until his father’s death in 1934. Since then he had his own law office. The elder Mr. Pradt served 12 years as assistant attorney general with the Department of Justice in Washington, D. C.

Born April 25, 1894, in Wausau, Louis A. Pradt graduated from the University of Wisconsin 1916 and entered the Harvard University law school, leaving to enlist in the Army in World War I. He returned to the University of Wisconsin to study law and received his degree in 1920.

Survivors include the widow, Winifred; three sons, Robert, Louis and Daniel, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Louis A. Pradt, of Wausau; one brother Alan of Rhinelander, and one sister, Mrs. Marshall Smith of Green Bay.
