Hoffman, Barbara (25 Jan 1964)

Wedding vows were exchanged between Barbara Ann Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Hoffman, Route 5, Marshfield and Martin Gene Fravert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Fravert, Loyal. The Rev. David Giles at St, John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield performed the ceremony at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25.

The bride entered the church wearing a ballerina-length bridal gown of chantilly lace designed with fitted bodice and a jewel-trimmed neckline, and a full lace skirt over taffeta and nylon net ruffles.

Her short illusion veil was secured to a queen’s crown trimmed with aurora borealis crystals and she carried a cascade of red roses and white carnations with streamers and rosebuds.

Serving as attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Kumm, Marshfield. the best man and matron of honor.

Mrs. Kumm wore a pink ballerina length formal of silk organza over taffeta with lace forming a V on the fitted bodice. Unpressed pleats fashioned the skirt with small bows trimming the front. She also wore a veiled headpiece. She had a deep pink corsage of carnations with white bows.

The wedding reception and supper were held at Loyal and that evening there was a wedding dance and shower at the Loyal Amusement Hall.

After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, the Fraverts will reside at 1439A S, Palmetto Avenue, Marshfield.

The new Mrs. Fravert is a 1962 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School and her husband attended Loyal High School.
