Max Sebold (10 Mar 1909 - 3 Dec 1974)

Max Sebold, 65, town of Mayville, Clark county, died Tuesday afternoon at Memorial hospital, Medford.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, (6 Dec 1974), at St. Louis Catholic church, Dorchester, with Rev. Jacob Burggraf officiating. Interment will take place in Dorchester Memorial cemetery.

The body will repose at the Kraut-Maurina funeral home, Dorchester, after 3 p.m. today, Thursday, until time of services. A parish rosary will be recited there at 8 o'clock tonight, Thursday.

Mr. Sebold was born March 10, 1909 in the town of Mayville and attended St. Louis parochial school. His marriage to Lavina Vogt took place June 14, 1945 at Dorchester.

They farmed in the town of Mayville since their marriage, taking over the operation of the family farm in 1945.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Gregory, at home; two brothers, Louis and Herman, both of Dorchester, and five sisters, Mary, Mrs. Herman Behrens, Iron Mountain, Mich., Hannah, Mrs. Guy Crane, and Tillie, Mrs. Glen Lincoln, both of Oshkosh, Sister Theodine Sebold, La Crosse, and Helen, Mrs. Alfred Kramer, Dorchester.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
