NONA PAULSEN BECOMES MRS. RUSSELL WOLLITZ

White Chrysanthemums and Ivy decorated the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee on Saturday, February 1, at 4:30 in the afternoon when Miss Nona Gayle Paulsen was given in marriage by her father to Russell C. Wollitz.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Paulsen of Withee and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Wollitz of Lidgerwood, North Dakota.

The Rev. Beryl Knudsen read the wedding vow. During the ceremony Miss Corrine Wollitz sang “Song of Ruth” and Dave Jablonic sang “The Lord’s Prayer.” They were accompanied by Miss Louise Hansen organist.

The bride was attired in a white silk, full-length bridal gown made with bell skirt ending a train, the back and front of the gown being accented by embroidered lace designs. A pillbox crown held her fingertip veil and she carried a bridal bouquet.

Attending her were Miss Corrine Wollitz, Lidgerwood, N. D., the maid of honor, and Mrs. Jack Jalling, Withee, the bridesmaid. They were attired in two shades of spring green, the lines of their dresses following that of the bride’s. Each had a floral arrangement.

Vickie Mueller, Withee, was the flower girl; Roger Warner of Wahpeton, N. D., the best man; Jack Jalling, Withee, the groomsman: and Larry Auberg, Withee, and Phil Cieslek, Owen, were ushers.

Dinner was served in the Nazareth Lutheran parish hall and the reception was held at the Meadow View Country Club Owen. After a southern Wisconsin honeymoon, the newlyweds have been making their home at 2414 Oakland Ave., S. Minneapolis.

Mrs. Wollitz, a 1961 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, also attended Wisconsin State College, Eau Claire, in 1961-1962, and presently was employed in Minneapolis by Minneapolis-Honeywell.

Mr. Wollitz, who was graduated in 1958 from Lidgerwood High School, Lidgerwood, N.D., is employed by Shamrock Neatway Products Inc. in Minneapolis.
