James “Fish” Raymond Haynes III, 28, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 in Rice Lake. He was born Dec. 20, 1984, in Medford, son of James II and Rebecca Haynes, and Linda and David Sadowski.

Jim graduated from Chetek High School in 2003. After graduation he became employed by Paul’s Sheet Metal as a roofer for nearly 10 years. He was a hard worker and considered “family” by all his co-workers.

Jim had found the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, Nicole Hill. He spent most of his free time with Nicole and her two beautiful children, Darian, 17, and Dawson, 9. He loved his family and friends, had a good time and was a fun person to be around. Jim not only worked hard, but lived life to the fullest. We all said he lived like a “rock star.” Jim had a zest for life and believed in having fun. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hanging out with the boys and occasionally a “cold one.” Jim had many friends and touched all who knew him. Most importantly, Jim believed in respect. He treated everyone with respect and expected it in return. He was a prankster, with a very kind heart. His smile and humor will be deeply missed by all.

James is survived by his father, James Haynes II, of Medford; mother, Linda Sadowski, of Chetek; two sisters, Stephanie Haynes of Chetek, and Megan Bowen, of Ladysmith; one step-sister, Carrie Lasee, of Niagra; grandparents, James, Sr. and Catherine Haynes, of Stetsonville, and Helen Klopp, of Chetek. He will be deeply missed by his loving girlfriend, Nicole Hill, of Rice Lake; many friends and other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Fred Klopp.

Active pallbearers: Beau Krantz, Andy Janota, Caleb Hakseth, Jessie Winkler, Carlos Sadowski, Chuck Belgaard.

Funeral services were held at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 16. Burial will take place Wednesday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Jump River. Family and friends are invited to meet at the cemetery.

Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Chetek has been entrusted with arrangements.
