Mrs. John Fischer Passes Away

Funeral Services were held Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at Our Lady Of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield, for Mrs. John J. Fischer, 46, Marshfield route 3, who passed away at 8:30 Wednesday morning at St. Joseph’s hospital where she had given birth at 5:02 a.m. that day to a daughter. Rev. Walter J. Dillenberg was in charge of the Requiem High Mass. Burial was in Hillside cemetery, Marshfield.

Mrs. Fischer, the former Mary Krohn, daughter of Mrs. Alex Krohn, Marshfield, and the late Mr. Krohn, was born in Marshfield January 22, 1903. She attended school in Marshfield and was married at St. John’s Church there, to Mr. Fischer April 23, 1925.

Surviving besides her mother and husband are 13 children: Mrs. John (Arlene) Croell of Chili; Florence, Marie, Glen, Lucille, Patsy, Larry, James, Joyce Ann, Karen, Robert and Shirley and the infant daughter, all at home. There is one granddaughter, Sandra Jean Croell.

Brothers and sisters surviving are Joseph and Alexandria Krohn and Mrs. Andrew Bodendorfer, all of Marshfield; Mrs. Melvin Tremmel, Spencer; Mrs. Roland Johnson, Milwaukee; and Mrs. John Dieringer, Marshfield.
