John Davis and mother were called to Mukwonago, Wis. Last Monday by the sudden death of John's father, who died of heart trouble at the Archie Garvin home. Mr. Davis was a former North York resident, having moved away about four years ago.

H.G. Graves hauled a load of cheese to Loyal on Monday.

Turner Brose returned home Friday night from their deer hunting trip. They got one deer.

Miss Emma Dahl came over from Marshfield Wednesday evening and spent the weekend with home folk, returning to her work at Marshfield on Monday.

Mrs. M. Turner and boys autoed to Spokeville Sunday and spent the day at the Chauncey Stevens home.

H.G. Graves and family ate Thanksgiving dinner at Frank Lavey's..

R. Teatz and son and Reinhold Voigt autoed to Neillsville on Monday.

Joe Eysnogle and wife visited Omer Deets and wife on Sunday.

R. Teatz autoed to Spencer Sunday after Warren Turner and family, who are guests in the W.H. Turner home.

Ben Turner and Joe McMahon drove to Granton last Friday.

Joe Eysnogle and wife autoed to Granton on Friday.

On Dec. 8th at 2 o'clock the old schoolhouse in District No. 1 will be sold to the highest bidder.

The members of the F.M. Church enjoyed a community Thanksgiving dinner with Rev. and Mrs. Case at the parsonage.

Alvern Case is home since last week Wednesday. He has been working for cliff Winn since fall.
