Marvin, Esther E. (Marriage - 3 May 1969)

Esther E. Marvin and Hugh V. Christie, both of Greenwood, were married May 3, at 4 p.m. at the United Methodist parsonage in Greenwood, with the Rev. Carl Booher officiating at a double ring ceremony.

The bride was attired in a tan suit and wore a pink rose corsage. Her maid-of-honor was June Marvin, who wore a light blue dress and carried a bouquet of white and blue carnations.

Kenneth Marvin was bestman.

A wedding supper was served at Katie’s Dairy Bar in a room decorated with a white bell and blue and white streamers. The wedding cake was baked and decorated by Mrs. Robert Susa of Greenwood.

A reception was held at the American Legion Hall.

Mr. Christie is in the trucking business.
