Morrow, Lorraine (1949)

Ives-Morrow

On Wednesday, August 17 at Caledonia, Minn., at the Lutheran Parsonage, occurred the marriage of Miss Lorraine Morrow, daughter of Mrs. Esther Morrow, and Lovell Ives, son of Mrs. William Trierweiler of Marshfield. Rev. Gurgle officiated at the ceremony.

In attendance were Walter Ives, brother of the groom and Wayne Jaeckel.

A gray street length dress, complemented with pale gray accessories, was worn by the bride. Her corsage was of red roses.

The Oaks at Winona, Minn., was the scene of the wedding supper. Following the supper the couple left for a brief honeymoon in Minnesota and southwestern Wisconsin.

Mrs. Ives graduated from Marshfield high school in 1946 and is now a musician in partnership with Wally Ives’ Orchestra. Mrs. Ives graduated from the Spencer high school last spring.

Upon their return from the honeymoon the young couple will reside temporarily at 306 South Walnut, Marshfield.

The Record joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
