Dollase, Elsie (13 November 1896 - 26 June 1969)

Mrs. Edward (Elsie) Dollase, 72, died June 26, in Memorial Home, where she had been a resident since September, 1968. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Evan Dieck of the Zion American Lutheran Church, Granton, officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Dollase was born November 13, 1896, in the Town of Grant, to Gustave and Anna (Thiede) Garbisch. She received her education there, and after her marriage on November 20, 1917, to Edward F. Dollase in Le Sueur, Minn., they farmed various places in Clark County. She lived on a farm west of Neillsville until entering Memorial Home. Her husband died December 26, 1967.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Sadie) Crossett of Marshfield and Mrs. Ray (Margaret) Hannan of Loyal; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers were: Lyall Johnson, Norman Lynch, William Diercks, Carl Diercks, Keith Durham and William Seelow. Mrs. Harold Mayer sang, “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “Asleep in Jesus,” accompanied by Mrs. Kenneth Karnitz.

McCray of Libertyville, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lowe, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thiede, Miss Roxanne Thiede, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crossett, Mrs. William Meyer, Tom and Lisa, all of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Philip Schecklman, Mrs. Florence Bertz, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hannan, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Walters, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hannan, all of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Kaudy, Mrs. William Joyce, Sr., and William Dollase, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Krause of Granton; Mrs. Emma Kelsey, Mrs. June Kelsey and James Kelsey of St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Esther Dudei of Berlin; Mrs. Bette Mae Rausch and Mr. and Mrs. Alois Stange of Athens; and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Seefeld of Spencer.
