Kalbus, Irma A. (22 MAY 1904 - 4 JUL 1964)

Funeral services for Mrs. Irma A. Kalbus, Oshkosh, a former Colby resident, were held Tuesday, July 7, at Oshkosh. Burial was made in Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Kalbus died at the age of 60 on Saturday, July 4, 1964 at Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh where she had been a patient for the past 18 days. She hdad been ill for about one and one-half years.

Mrs. Kalbus was born Irma Lueloff at Colby May 22, 1904. On June 26, 1938 she was married to Karl H. Kalbus, who preceded her in death in 1957. She taught school in Colby for six years, moving to Oshkosh in 1936. She operated a beauty shop in Oshkosh from 1936 to 1946, and was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, the Ladies' Aid, the Hammond Organ Club, and was a past president of the South Side Businessman's Auxiliary.

Surviving Mrs. Kalbus are one daughter, Miss Karla Kaye Kalbus, Oshkosh; her mother, Mrs. Ida Lueloff, Oshkosh; and one sister, Mrs. William Noah, Oshkosh.

Attending the funeral from Colby were Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Langjahr and sons, Mrs. George Tesmer, Mrs. Ed Feit and Miss Gertrude Lueloff.
