Mrs. Ackerman and granddaughter Helen Eilers returned from Columbus County accompanied by Mrs. Alvin Pischer and baby Mildred. They stopped at Neillsville for a short visit with relatives and came up by auto on Friday.

Capt. L.S. Davis and wife left Saturday for Ft. Sam Houston.

Lucile Davis spent Sunday night with Marjorie Pietenpol and visited Neillsville school Monday, the attended the play "A Box of Monkeys" Monday evening.

Mrs. W.J. Davis entertained the Social Club at an old fashioned quilting last week Thursday.

Truman Davis and family, Mrs. Rella Osgood and Vernie Wright spent last week Thursday evening with Capt. L.S. Davis and wife at the John Pietenpol home.

Frank Krejci has a new Ford since Monday.

Glen Nonhof was on the sick list Sunday.

Mabel Dorst came Friday night and stayed with Lila Davis until Sunday.

F.H. Davis and family spent Friday evening with his brother Capt. L.S. Davis and wife at the Joh Pietenpol home.
