Kline, Martha, (17 Feb 1883-01 May 1964)

Funeral services were held Friday, May 1, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, for Mrs. Martha Kline, 81, who was found dead Wednesday evening at her home. She died of natural causes.

The Rev. A. M. Moldenhauer officiated at the services. Mrs. Verland Dux and Mrs. Ervin Dux sang the hymns, “Jesus Lover of My Soul,” and “Safe in the Arms of Jesus,” accompanied at the organ by Mrs. John A. Olson. The active pallbearers were Donald Krause, Bernard Krause, Norman Kommer, Willard Kobs, George Wittman, and Norman Kommer, Jr.

The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The former Martha Kommer was born February 17, 1883, in Spencer. Before her marriage she was employed at Stevens Point and Loyal. Her marriage took place in 1904 at Spencer to William Kline, who preceded her in death in 1943. The couple made their home in Loyal.

Mrs. Kline was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, and a Charter Member of the Women of the Church Organization.

Those who survive Mrs. Kline, are a daughter, Mrs. Mathew (Maybelle) Gravitz, Fond du Lac; two brothers, Otto Kommer, Chippewa Falls; and William Kommer, Spencer; five sisters, Miss Ida Kommer and Mrs. Freda Krause, Spencer; Mrs. Anna Corbett, Fond du Lac; Mrs. Emma Rome, Hibing, Minnesota; and Mrs. Linda Olson, North Hollywood, California; and a granddaughter. Her was preceded in death by a son.

Those who attended the funeral from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Gravitz and Marsha, Fond du Lac; Mrs. John Corbett, Fond du Lac; Mrs, Frieda Krause, Mr. William Kommer, Miss Ida Kommer, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kommer Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Mantke and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Krause, all of Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kommer, JR., Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kommer, Chipewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. William Kobs and Mr. and Mrs. George Wittman, Marshfield; and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Krause, Unity.
