Siudak, Agnes Marie (6 February 1925 - 28 May 2013)

Agnes M. Siudak, age 88, of Thorp, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Oakbrook Health & Rehab in Thorp, WI. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin. Rev. Madanu Sleeva Raju will officiate and burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Church on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service.

Agnes Marie Pancyrz was born in Mitterhoffer, WI, rural Thorp, on February 6, 1925, to Frank and Sophie (Iskra) Pancyrz. She was raised on a farm in Lublin and received her education in the Lublin area. She and Edward Siudak were united in marriage on April 11, 1942, at St. Stanislaus Church in Lublin. They farmed in the Town of Roosevelt until their move to Chicago in 1950. Agnes was a mother, homemaker and worked at Hammond Organ for a number of years. She and Ed moved back to Lublin in 1976 when they retired.

Agnes was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and a member of the Lublin American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, cooking for family gatherings and Polka dancing.

She is survived by one son, Anthony (Roslyn) Siudak of Eau Claire; one daughter, Joyce (Jim) Sanchez of Colby; eleven grandchildren: Shelly (David) Hyde, Leon (Brooke) Downing, Leanna Sanchez, Kim Sanchez Jr., Debbie (Randy) Schoelzel, Lorie Graff, Brian (Deb) Siudak, Mike (Jenifer) Siudak, Phil Siudak Jr., Robert Siudak, and Sarah Siudak; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Siudak of McHenry, IL; one sister, Ann Cukla of Thorp; one brother-in-law, Gus Rojek of Chicago; one sister-in-law, Jean Pancyrz of Tampa, FL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed, on October 7, 1989; two sons; Phillip and Robert Siudak; one daughter, Denise Copija; one granddaughter, Jasmine Copija; two grandsons: Brandon Copija and Scottie Fitzl; five brothers: Joe Pancyrz, Peter Pancyrz, Stanley Pancyrz, Frank Rice, and Ed Panzer; and three sisters: Lucille Rojek, Antonia Bochantyn and Francis Rosiejka.
