Dodte, Olga (25 AUG 1915)

Last Wednesday evening the wedding of Oscar W. Schoengarth and Miss Olga Dodte was solemnized at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dodte. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Colman and was witnessed only by relatives and close friends of the contracting parties. The attending couple were Edward Schoengarth and Miss Clarice Dodte. The bride wore a gown of white lace over white taffeta and the bridesmaid wore a gown of pink. The Dodte home was beautifully decorated for the occasion and a bounteous wedding dinner was served after the ceremony. Mr. Schoengarth and his bride left at midnight for a wedding trip to California and the Panama exposition.

The bride is a young lady of unusual qualifications and winsome manners. She was born near this city, graduated from the Neillsville High School, attended and graduated from the Oshkosh Normal and Watertown, Minn., Normal and taught school successfully at Douglass and Globe, Arizona, and at Omro.

The groom is the present county judge of Clark County and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Schoengarth. He was born here, attended the city schools and graduated from the Wisconsin Law School in 1901. He has served three terms as county judge, was a delegate to the National Republican convention in 1912 and has always taken an active interest and part in political and local affairs. Mr. and Mrs. Schoengarth are splendid young people and they have the best wishes of a host of friends for their future welfare and happiness. At the conclusion of their wedding trip they will go to housekeeping in the new home they have built on Oak Street.
