Jochimsen, Jerry Ray (27 APR 1945 - 13 MAY 1975)

Death notices obtained from the Medford High School, Class of 1963 Index of Kay (Resech) Ludwig.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) for Jerry Ray Jochimsen, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Medford, where cemetery committal rites also will be held, with Rev. Warren R. Behling officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.

The body reposed at Hemer Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 until 9 p.m., and one hour before church services. A family prayer service was held Wednesday evening.

Jerry Ray Jochimsen was born April 27, 1945 in the town of Browning. He received his education in Medford area schools. His marriage to the former Carol Halopka took place July 23, 1966 at Medford.

Mr. Jochimsen was employed the past 12 years by Jochimsen, Inc., Medford, and he also farmed in the town of Deer Creek. He was a member of St. Paul’s congregation.

Survivors include Mrs. Carol Jochimsen and a son, Jody, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Jochimsen, town of Little Black; two brothers, Alan of Minocqua and Dale of the town of Little Black; a sister, Ruth, Mrs. David Messman, Dorchester; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mr. Arno Jochimsen, town of Deer Creek, and maternal grandparents. Mrs. and Mrs.
Ed Leader Sr., Medford.
