Sievers, Beverly Jean (Hippe) (10 JUN 1945 - 28 JAN 1993)

Death notices obtained from the Medford High School, Class of 1963 Index of Kay (Resech) Ludwig.

Funeral services for Beverly Jean Sievers, 47, of 932 Fountain St., Albert Lea, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 1, 1993, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Wayne Halvorson will officiate.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Bayview/Freeborn funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Beverly Jean Sievers died suddenly on Thursday, January 28, 1993, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Beverly Jean Sievers was born June 10, 1945, at Medford, Wis., the daughter of Roy and Lillian (Franz) Hippe. She attended and graduated from school in Rib Lake, Wis. She moved to Lake City, Minnesota where she was united in marriage to William Sievers on July 10 1965. The couple moved to Albert Lea where Beverly had worked as a housekeeper for Naeve Hospital.

She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, enjoyed fishing, crafts, rummage sales and was very active in Fountain Lake Sportsmen’s Club. Beverly loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include: her husband, William (Bill) Sievers of Albert Lea; daughter, Kristie and husband Lynn Wacholz of New Richland; son, Kenny of Albert Lea; grandchildren, Halie Sievers, Taylor, Michael and Tatum Wacholz; mother, Lillian Hippe of Medford, Wis.; brothers, LeRoy, Jerry and Bob; sisters, Linda and Debbie and their spouses and children; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy and sister, Kathy.
