Ohlrogge, Claude (25 NOV 1902 – 17 SEP 1965)

Private services were held Monday, September 20 at the Myre Funeral Home, Loyal for Claude Ohlrogge, 62, Milwaukee, a former Loyal resident who died Friday evening, September 17 at the Milwaukee County Hospital.  While living in Loyal Mr. Ohlrogge operated a funeral home in Loyal till 1946 when he left here to reside in Milwaukee.

The Rev. A.M. Moldenhauer officiated and burial was made in the Lutheran Cemetery at Loyal.

Pallbearers were Herman Noeldner, Lawrence Cowles, Lawrence Davel, Claude Steiner, Tom Wepfer, and Frank Degenhardt.  The Rev. A. M. Moldenhauer sang the “Lords Prayer” and Mrs. John A. Olsen was the organist.

Mr. Ohlrogge was born November 25, 1902 at Seymour.  His marriage to Edith Hayes took place June 18, 1932 at Oshkosh.

In addition to his wife, he leaves a son, Richard, Green Bay;; a daughter, Mrs. William Kinsman, Manawa; his mother, Mrs. Emma Ohlrogge, Seymour; six brothers, Arnold Ohlrogge, Denmark; the rev. Fred Ohlrogge and Gordon Ohlrogge, West Bend; Harry Ohlrogge, Sturgeon Bay; Gaylord Ohlrogge, Green Bay; the Rev. Theo Ohlrogge, Appleton; and three sisters, Miss Verona Ohlrogge, West Bend; Miss Vera Ohlrogge, Wausau, and Mrs. Harry Lay, West Bend.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and a sister.
