(Court Judgment – 14 Oct 1915)
Last Thursday the Holtz vs. Sechler
damage suit was heard at Black River Falls and about thirty-five witnesses from
this city were at the trial. This was the case which arose from the injury which
Miss Lillie Holtz received some months ago when she was thrown out of a car
driven by Harold Sechler. The jury brought in a verdict for $820 damages for the
plaintiff. E.W. Crosby and R.J. MacBride of this city conducted the suit for the
plaintiff.
