The Rev. Leroy Urman will officiate at the services, and interment will be made in the Colby Memorial cemetery.  The Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby is in charge of the arrangements.

The former Hedwig Totsch was born in Manistee, Mich., Sept. 3, 1895.  Her parents died when she was nine years old, and she then lived with an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Koenig, in the town of Frankfort.  She received her education there, and in 1911 they moved to Wausau.

Her marriage to Herman Syring, who survives her, took place April 28, 1917, at Trinity Lutheran church at Wausau.  The couple moved to a farm in the town of Frankfort until retirement in 1947, when they moved to the city of Colby.

Mrs. Syring was a member of Zion Lutheran church of Colby and was a former member of the Ladies’ Aid.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Clarence and Rueben Syring of route 1, Edgar; and three daughters, Mrs. Merlin (Milda) Ramker of Colby, Mrs. Harold (Irene) Hanne of Colby, and Mrs. Vilas (Verna) Thede of route 1, Colby.
