Cattanach, Clara (6 July 1902 - 26 February 1970)

Mrs. Clara Cattanach, 67, of Marshfield died February 26. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton with the Rev. Evan Dieck, pastor of the Zion American Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial was made in the Windfall Cemetery.

Mrs. Cattanach, the former Clara Marg, was born July 6, 1902, in the Town of Fremont. She was married November 26, 1921 to Curtis Cattanach, who died February 6, 1956. Mr. and Mrs. Cattanach operated a farm in the Town of Fremont. She moved to Milwaukee following the death of her husband and came to Marshfield about two years ago.

Survivors include two sons, Warren Cattanach of Newport, Minn., and Eugene Cattanach of Granton; a brother, Elmer Marg of Granton and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Duane Marg, Ralph Lautenbach, Harvey Pischer, Jerry Schmitz, Robert Reisner and Donald Bartsch. Mrs. Evan Dieck, accompanied at the organ by Marjorie Schlinsog sang, “Children of the Heavenly Father” and “Abide with us Our Savior”.
