------ Daellenbach, Christian (16 JAN 1881 – 23 MAR 1965)

Word has been received here of the death of Christian Daellenbach, a former area resident who died on March 23 at Siren.  He was 84.

Services were held at the Bethany Lutheran church, Siren.  Rev. Arnold Walker officiated.  Pallbearers were Charles, Peter, Lawrence and Tom Daellenbach, David Glubka and Bruce Harnig, all grand sons.

He was born Jan. 16, 1881, and on Nov. 11, 1906, he was married to the former Minnie Prange, at the Lutheran church in the town of Holton.

He is survived by his wife and seven children, Mrs. Estelle Yount, Morrow Bay, Calif., Oswald Daellenbach, Morrehead, Minn., Myron Daellenbach, St. Croix Falls, Minn., George Daellenbach of Chisaga, Minn., Mrs. Lucille Glubka, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Doris Harnig, Hopkins, Minn.

Mrs. Della Leahy of Abbotsford, a niece, was among those who attended the funeral.
