Friday night W.F. Potter received a dispatch that his brother in Cambridge, Dane County, was dead. He and Willie left Saturday to be present at the funeral.

Mrs. Anna McConnell went to Osseo on Saturday to visit Mrs. McMaster for awhile.

Mrs. H. Bostwick has now taken the Farning baby and relieved Mrs. Syth. Surely the baby falls into good hands and grows and crows as happily as a baby should.

Jas. Tompkins has purchased a driver from Ross Paulson last week.

Walter Hubble is having a well drilled on Mrs. Tompkins' place. G.W. Bishop is doing the work.

Nellie Hogue visited with Francis Potter Saturday and Sunday.

Ed Peterson and little son visited Herman Wendt's folks on Sunday.
