DeWald, Julia Ann (Marriage - 1970)

Miss Julia Ann DeWald, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas N. DeWald of Florissant, Mo., was given in marriage to William H. Cole, also of Florissant, at a noon ceremony Saturday, April 11. Rev. Michael Regan officiated at St. Dismas Church in Florissant. Mrs. Dale Zaehringer was the organist. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cole, Rt. 2 Loyal.

Wearing an A-line gown of peau de soie with an elbow length veil falling from a layered bow head piece, the bride carried at bouquet of daisies and white carnations.

Miss Nancy DeWald, Arlington, Tex., was the maid-of-honor. She, with the other attendants, Miss JoLene Andrews and Miss Katherine DeWald, both of Florissant, wore rainbow colors of dotted Swiss with daisy accents. Each carried a nosegay of daisies.

Miss Sandi Cole and Thomas DeWald was the flower girl and ring bearer.

Serving as bestman was Shuji NameKawa, Wisconsin Rapids. Barry Jensen and David Cole were groomsmen. Ushers were Thomas DeWald, Jr., and Richard DeWald.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Club Imperial.

The new Mrs. Cole is a 1967 graduate of McCluer High School and is employed at McDonnell Douglas Corporation. Her husband was graduated from Loyal High School in 1964 and the University of Wisconsin in 1969. He is a mechanical engineer at McDonnell Douglas Corporation.

They will reside in Florissant, Mo.
