Wehrman, Alvin Otto (02 FEB 1915– 26 SEP 1997)

Alvin Otto Wehrman, 82, Greenwood, died September 26, 1997 at his home. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 1997 at Immanual United Church of Christ, Greenwood.  Rev. Michael Kennedy officiated.  Burial was in Immanual United Church of Christ Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Roger Schwarze, Ray Weyer, Kyle Weyer, Dan Williams, Kirk Haslow and David Krultz.

Alvin Otto Wehrman was born February 3, 1915 in Greenwood to Otto Henry Conrad and Elizabeth (Zell) Wehrman.  He attended Decker Country School in rural Greenwood.  He farmed all of his life in the Greenwood area.  He was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include one brother, Arno (Jane) Wehrman, Milwaukee, three sisters: Mary Klug, Chicago; Gladys Tatalovich, New Berlin and Virginia Gehrt, Rib Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Marian Checky and Ida Wehrman and three brothers, Leo, Henry and Albert.

Rinka Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
