Mrs. W.K. Armitage and Mrs. Chas Broker drove to Greenwood last Thursday night and stayed overnight at their nephew's, Dell Timerson. On Friday they, with Mrs. Dell Timerson, called on Rev. Marsh and family and visited with Mrs. Bredesen, Sr., returning home Friday evening.

The Ladies' Aid will meet in the hall for dinner next Thursday, Oct. 28. Everyone is invited.

Mrs. Fred Lovine and Will Wilson returned home last Saturday from Pierce Co., where they visited relatives for a few days.

Mr. and Mrs. Theo Brown went to Colby last week to visit their daughter, Mrs. J.B. Kaudy.

August Widkee and wife of Neillsville visited over Saturday night and Sunday last at Willis J. Armitage's. Chas. Peck and wife visited with them on Sunday.

Mrs. Free Raymond died last Monday night, Oct. 18, 1909, after a run of typhoid fever. We all thought she was recovering, but she hurt one of her fingers in some way, causing blood poison. She leaves a husband and two sons. She was a good and loving wife and mother, and was loved and respected by all of her friends and neighbors. Funeral services took place on Thursday afternoon at the church, Rev. Hendren officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Christie Cemetery. The family has the sympathy of the entire neighborhood.
