Dells Dam (16 Mar 1916)

Carl Guse’s team of colts got away from him the first time they were hitched to a bob sleigh. They ran into a barb wire fence and tore down about five rods of the fence. The harness was broken some, but other damage done was light. Fortunately the colts were not badly cut.

The social at Mrs. Victor Horton’s was a success. Everyone seemed to have a good time.

There will be a social at the church on Friday evening, March 17th. Everybody invited. A quilt will be sold by the school.

John O’Brien is working for Mrs. Ehlers for a few days.

Caucus will be held at the town hall Friday, March 24, at 2 o’clock for the town of Levis.

Mr. Murphy is some better.

Mrs. Meyer is on the sick list.

Lillie Ellerts had a birthday party Sunday.
